Mike B. just sent over a link to his brother Pat's new band, Mr. Panic Button. I remember him playing some demos for me what must have been at least a year ago, and they were pretty good. They've obviously been practicing, because the MP3's on the site sound great. They're supposed to be playing some art gallery Saturday, and I don't know if I'd want to deal with that kind of a scene, but I'm definitely going to check them out live one of these days.

I got back from Chicago late last night. It was a very nice trip, and I had a good time visiting with all my friends up there. Special thanks to mister Mike Medina for taking me in and giving me a place to stay for free. As usual, we did a lot of running around and ate lots of great food. I also went to see Mike's most recent band, The Gin Palace Jesters, which also features two of my other friends, Dave Sisson and Rod Glaze. I have pictures, and if they're any good, I'll have them up shortly.

Chicago is a great town, and I could definitely see myself living there one day. But for now, it's back to work.

Update: Here are the pictures!

There appears to be an influx of visitors from Brazilian and/or South and Central American domains. This comes as a surprise to me, as I don't know many folks from that area of the world. And what's more, they're all going directly to the Knob Creek computer-shooting pictures page. So I guess somebody somehow got this link and is passing it around.

So, to all my new visitors: welcome. And if any of you are so inclined, shoot me an e-mail and tell me how you found my site. My address is jackson@losinlouisville.com. Enjoy!
